Year 1 Teacher – Longbridge, Birmingham

Supply Heroes are looking for a full-time class teacher in Year 1 to join a vibrant and friendly primary school in Longbridge, Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have a knack for making learning fun and engaging. This role is from after the easter holiday's until the end of the academic year, 5 days a week.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in teaching KS1- Year 1
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- ECT's welcome
• Experience in phonics (Soundswrite)
• Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching
• Creative and innovative in their teaching methods
• Able to build positive relationships with students
• Flexible and adaptable to the pupils needs

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging and relevant lessons that are in line with KS1 National Curriculum
• Assessing student progress on a regular basis
• Supporting students' social and emotional development
• Identifying students who may need additional support and connecting them with the resources they need
• Working effectively with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
