SEND Teacher – Coleshill, Birmingham

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher for one of our fantastic partner schools based in Coleshill. This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with additional needs.

The successful candidate will work with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, providing tailored support, differentiated learning activities, and a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment. You will work alongside a supportive senior leadership team, teaching assistants, and external professionals to ensure each pupil’s individual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons
• Supporting pupils with SEND, including those with EHCPs
• Managing behaviour positively and effectively
• Working collaboratively with support staff and specialist teams
• Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records
• Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working in SEND or a strong passion for special needs education
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, empathy, and a child-centred approach
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs
