Description
Supply Heroes are looking for an experienced EYFS Teacher to join a large primary school in the borough of Aston. The Senior Leadership team are supportive, innovative and driven to achieve the best outcomes for the children. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching with Early Years/ KS1 and will be confident in delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils. This position is Full-Time and for the Full Academic Year.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Taking on responsibility for EYFS, assesments, reading and phonics
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team of staff within EYFS including ECT’s and TA’s
- Provide strong leadership in Early Years or work towards this
- Have a collaborative and supportive team culture
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a rich and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of children in both EYFS
- Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning practices, providing guidance and support to enhance the overall quality of education.
- Assessing student progress on a regular basis
- Supporting students’ social and emotional development
- Identifying students who may need additional support and connecting them with the resources they need
- Working effectively with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experience of teaching in EYFS
- In depth knowledge of phonics
- Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching
- Creative and innovative in their teaching methods
- Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
- A team player who is willing to collaborate with others
- A good communicator who is able to explain concepts clearly
- Flexible and adaptable to the pupils needs
- Have a teaching qualification to teach in the UK
