Description

Supply Heroes are looking for a full-time Year 5 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Aston, Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 and will be confident in delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils. This position is Full-Time and for the Full Academic Year.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering creative and stimulating lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing feedback and next steps
  • Creating a safe and positive classroom environment that encourages pupil development
  • Supporting pupils’ academic, emotional, and social well-being
  • Working closely with other teachers, support staff, and SLT to promote high standards across the school

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in teaching Key Stage 2
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about helping children reach their full potential
  • Committed to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
  • Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced school environment
  • A confident communicator who works well in a team
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential – ECT’s are welcome
